My Thoughts On Mind Management Techniques
The mind is an interesting phenomena. So much research and study has been and is still being done on understanding how it works and why some people have less stress and more calm, while others don’t. As an avid student of the mind and mind management techniques, it’s been a real eye-opener for me.
I would never have imagined in my wildest dreams 17 years ago when I first started my meditation journey, that I would be writing books about meditation and teaching it to thousands of people around the world. It really has been a tremendous blessing to walk this path.
Most of the studies that have been done on relaxing your mind all agree on one thing… that it is for the mind to be relaxed, it has to slow down. Because we are on-the-go so much the mind is constantly switched on, and when you throw in distractions like technology and social media, it’s no wonder we are mentally and physically exhausted at the end of the day.
Then, when we go to bed, the mind still won’t shut up which makes it hard to even fall asleep, let alone stay asleep. This means when we wake up the next day and do it all over again, we haven’t really fully recovered from the previous day. And the linger this cycle goes on, the more worn down and frazzled we get.
