Meditation And Mindfulness Secrets To Happiness
Today you are going to discover some brand new meditation and mindfulness secrets on happiness that I have never shared before.
Do you have parts of your life that you’re not happy with and you desperately want to change them? Then the video below will walk you through EXACTLY how to turn parts of your life that you’re not happy with, into ones that you enjoy.
Practicing Mindfulness Tips
Before we get into the juicy stuff, I want to take a few moments to give you a few tips on the best way to go about practicing mindfulness. If you want more detailed ideas you can always check out these mindfulness tips as well. So let’s have a look at the best way to get started.
The best way to approach practicing mindfulness in the beginning is to give yourself some space to sit quietly where you won’t be so easily disturbed. Then make sure to put your phone on silent (or even better leave it in another room), and make sure you have somewhere comfy to sit.
Eventually, after you get comfortable with how being mindful works, you’ll be able to stay cool and calm not matter what’s going on around you. But until you get to that stage, it’s a good idea to give yourself a quiet space to practice in. You can also start off meditating for anywhere from one to five minutes.
At the beginners level it’s not so much about how long you do, but that you get started and then keep the momentum going on a daily basis. What you’ll find is that the more you do it, the longer you will naturally meditate for with ease. In fact, time will go by so quickly you’ll wonder what happened to it.
My last tip would be to simply have fun. Don’t try to make a big fuss about it, or be the perfect meditator when you start out as you’ll set yourself up for failure. Success with meditation happens naturally over time as long as you are consistent with it. Drop any expectations you might have and simply find a way to sit and be at peace with doing nothing.
When you can do that, then you can be at peace anywhere, and anytime, because nothing is by far the most challenging thing any of us will ever do. Why? Because we are hard wired these days to always be on the go. To be happy with doing nothing means to be okay with slowing down and giving the mind a well deserved rest.
Just by giving our head a break for even a few minutes from our thoughts, feelings, mobile devices and anything else we get distracted by, it refreshes the mind and rejuvenates the body.
Mindfulness Meditation Technique For Happiness
One of the biggest secrets as to why mindfulness meditation brings more happiness and joy into our lives is because we enter into the power of now. It is the one thing that we can focus on that gets us out of our head and into our bodies so that we can be present and experience the joy of life that is abundantly happening right now.
Most of us miss out on the joy of life because we get stuck going back over the past or planning ahead for the future, which may or may not happen and which ultimately we really don’t have any control over, except what we do in this moment. It’s the space between our thoughts where happiness lies – this is the biggest secret of all. That’s why when we meditate and the mind goes quiet that happiness naturally arises.
We don’t have to do anything to make that happen – it happens naturally when the mind gets out of the way. Let’s do a simple mindfulness technique right now so you can explore for yourself exactly how this works for you.
I hope this video helped to show you just how easy it is to step back from the busy mind and enter into the power of being here now. The key is to focus on being non-judgmental and allowing of whatever arises in the mood or body. Once you master this skill, then happiness is yours for the taking anywhere, and anytime you choose.
